Summary
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a QA (Quality Auditor) to join a well-established, heavy industry manufacturer who are a leader in their field. They are seeking a candidate who has a willingness to learn and develop and are offering a solid platform for career progression. This position will be based at their site in Neath, South Wales.

 

The Role
Reporting into the Quality Manager, duties will include:

  • Ensuring the quality of all products are of a high standard
  • Checking of accuracy
  • Ensuring that the products leave the plant within the specified limits
  • Ensuring quality checks are carried out every day before equipment is used
  • Complete documentation accurately and legibly
  • Undertaking of internal auditing within the site
  • Maintain and improve customer and factory standards and products via auditing, quality monitoring and other methods
  • Produce safe products to specification
  • Ensure factory process paperwork is completed correctly
  • Carry out routine tasks and audits as per schedule
  • Product sampling for laboratory analysis
  • Daily Quality Assessments

 

The Candidate

  • The successful candidate will have:
  • Good communicator with the ability to interact with other teams/functions
  • Ability to prioritise effectively
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a sometimes pressurised environment
  • Good level of PC literacy
  • Positive attitude
  • Willingness to learn and develop
  • Ability with maths and written and verbal ability with English.
